Flash out of the box sucks for SEO and Google has been talking for years about doing something about it. However there are some CMS that tackle the problem. Check silex(silex-ria.org) for example

There is always a need to find out what words a search engine would see on each of your web pages. There is a good script already developed that gives you that information. It is posted at http://www.biterscripting.com/SS_WebPageToText.html . To try it,

1. Download biterscripting. I believe it is still free.

2. Start biterscripting. Install sample scripts using the following command.

script “http://www.biterscripting.com/Download/SS_AllSamples.txt”

Both of above should not take more than a couple of minutes. Now, you are ready to use the SS_WebPageToText script. For example, if you enter the following command,

script SS_WebPageToText.txt page(“http://www.themorphicgroup.com/blog/2009/06/11/notes-adding-seo-to-a-flex-web-site/”)

it will give you the words a search engine will find on this very page. If you enter,

script SS_WebPageToText.txt page(“http://www.themorphicgroup.com”)

it will tell you what search words a search engine would find on the web site http://www.themorphicgroup.com .

etc.
